Who needs Harry Styles! Taylor Swift has a drink with Danny O’Donoghue!

ANY ASSUMPTIONS REGARDING ANY RELATIONSHIP MADE BY THE SUN IS PURELY SPECULATION/RUMOR, THERE HAS BEEN NO WORD ON THIS TO CONFIRM AND AS WE KNOW THE PRESS LOVE TO MAKE UP STORIES, SO PLEASE TAKE THIS WITH A PINCH OF SALT.

AS FANS WE CAN ALL SAY WE HAVE BEEN SINGING ALONG  WITH DANNY, GLEN AND MARK, SO I GUESS WE ALL HAVE A FUTURE RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM!

Danny O’Donoghue took to the stage with Taylor Swift during one of her London gigs this week and it’s said that the former The Voice coach, really hit it off with the US star.

Swift loves bringing surprise guests out for her concerts and has previously performed with Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol, Mick Jagger from The Rolling Stones and just last week she invited singer / songwriter Sam Smith to perform to her fans.

Her latest duet partner was The Script star Danny and insiders say chemistry between the pair was palpable.

An insider told The Sun that the vibe on stage was impressive and explained:

“There was some real chemistry between the two onstage.

“Taylor has loved THE SCRIPT since she first came over to this side of the Atlantic and asked Danny to appear. He jumped at the chance.”

Danny is single and ready to mingle and hasn’t been involved in a serious relationship since he split from model Irma Mali last year. Sources say he enjoyed a drink with Taylor backstage earlier this week.

The Irish star revealed that he didn’t have to think about it for long, when he first heard Taylor wanted him at her gig and he told the newspaper:

“I knew it was gonna be loads of fun so I accepted immediately.

“She’s always been a fan of the song Breakeven so it seemed the logical one to do.

“I think it turned out amazing. She puts on a great show.”

Swift was full of praise for the hunk after her concert on Tuesday night and raved about his performance, tweeting:

“Tonight’s surprise guest at the O2: Danny O’Donoghue from The Script singing ‘Breakeven’. The crowd went absolutely insane!! #redtourlondon

ONCE AGAIN PLEASE ACCEPT THIS AS A RUMOR. AT DANNYODONOGUHE.NET WE LIKE TO REPORT ALL NEWS TO YOU BUT THIS IS SPECULATION.

Simon Cowell and Robbie Williams favourites to replace Gary Barlow as X Factor judge

Head judge Gary said that he would be leaving at the end of the current run of the ITV favourite during last night's live show as part of his comments on act Rough Copy's performance of 'In the Air Tonight'.

He later confirmed in a statement: "I’ve had an amazing time on X Factor these past three years. A show like this needs to stay fresh and exciting, so it’s a great opportunity for someone to come in and take the show past its incredible ten year anniversary.

So as usual the rumor mill begins to turn our favorite fellow Irishman is yet again appearing in it.

Here at The Dublin Weekender, would like to remind you that this is all RUMOR and money making for the bookmakers.

Danny has not even commented on this and to be honest he probably doesn't even know he has been mentioned as he is working hard with 'The Script' in the studio on their new album. Plus I'm sure all the fans can remember Danny's thoughts on The X Factor and the way it is judged and run.

Janine comes clean about breakup with Jaypee

In an interview with 'The Buzz' Janine Tugonon, talked about her future in America and also addressed the rumors about Danny O'Donoghue.

Breakup with Jaypee

.Last April, Tugonon made headlines when she broke up with Santos after she admitted on national television that she got attracted with The Script vocalist Danny O'Donoghue.

“I kept quiet during that time. There’s nothing I can say that can actually change what people think It’s already set in their mind. So I really wanted to wait for the right time to finally explain what happened.

“I think I was misunderstood. the public and Jaypee's family perceived that I dumped Jaypee without caring about how he felt and not for any particular reason. There’s a bigger story behind that breakup,” she said. “I want to keep it private as much as possible but with family and the press making a big issue about Danny O'Donoghue from The Script. I couldn't get the reason across I had been condemned and no one was going to listen or believe me. But the break up was more than just that it was a mutual decision.”

“I admit I was at fault because of what happened on The ‘Kris TV’ interview, it was my fault. But the breakup, was already starting to happen before the concert, before everything popped out, so the press used the story, but I did still add fuel to the fire with my comments” she added.

Tugonon, however, admitted that O'Donoghue was indeed one of the reasons why they called it quits.

“Of course, I admit I got attracted. I said that on ‘Kris TV.’ Who wouldn’t? I love the band, I love their music a lot. And yes I got attracted, who wouldn't? So maybe it was a small part of it but we just fell out of love and that was the main reason,” she said.

Tugonon also emphasized that O’Donoghue did not court her.

“The press turned it into a massive story and said that we were dating, just think about it, how can it happen, he’s in the other side of the world? I think we just talked. Of course, and yes I admit, I was attracted to him and kinda whisked along with the whole fairy tale idea. But no, there was NEVER EVER anything going on. I was lucky enough to meet him and the band, we chatted and had a photo together but that is all it ever was,” she said.

Danny O'Donoghue & Rediculous X Factor Rumour.

As you all know speculation is rife over who will fill Danny O'Donoghue and Jessie J's shoes. Well here we go again with more RUMOUR (ie total rubbish) on the judge front.

This time it's Louis Walsh and his replacement in 2014. We now have the list of betting odd for who will replace. We were surprised to see our handsome Irishman from The Script on the list. Not only that but pretty high up too.

Danny is listed as 10/1 odds (meaning if Danny does replaces Louis Walsh and you bet 1 euro you will win 10 euro). But here at Dublin Weekender we seriously recommend you don't waste your money, he has just returned to full time work with The Script, therefore we think it's highly unlikely ( We think not chance in the world) he would even consider the position. Plus if you remember from The Voice Danny did say he thought the X Factor was a bit cruel on the contestants and that he felt some of them had been ridiculed, so yet another reason to bet on him.

Here is a list of the betting with Danny highlighted

So that is all we have to report at the moment and a good indication of how unlikely it will happen is our ladies in the office. They are very big fans as you know from previous interviews with Danny, we emailed them the list and they didn't even comment, most of them just deleted it, they didn't even give it a second thought and they never miss a chance to talk/gossip/drool over him!

We just wanted to get to you guys before the rumours get too big, in our humble opinion it isn't even a rumour, we think it's total rubbish!

The Rumour mill makes newspapers and 'bookmakers' money!

THE VOICE LINES UP JLS' ORTISE WILLIAMS TO REPLACE JESSIE J?

AS WE HAVE PREVIOUSLY SAID PLEASE TAKE THIS WITH A PINCH OF SALT UNTIL WE HEAR CONFIRMATION FROM THE VOICE OR THE GREAT MAN HIMSELF

THE Voice is lining up JLS hunk Oritsé Williams to take a spot on the judging panel, although other names have been mentioned such as Paloma Faith, Emeli Sandé and Rita Ora.

There is Speculation that he is close to signing a deal after the departure of Jessie J, who announced she was quitting last week.

But show chiefs could have more of a hunt on their hands after it emerged will.i.am, 38, and Tom Jones, 73, are also heading for the exit door.

BBC bosses are preparing for the double blow as outspoken American will.i.am refuses to sign a new contract.

He has had a series of blazing rows with producers as he feels contestants are not given enough support once the show ends in comparison to the X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent.

Welsh singing legend Tom Jones has also yet to put pen to paper on a new contract and is said to be considering his future as a mentor on the show.

A source said: “All four of the judges were eventually asked to come back on board for the third series but Jessie J has gone and now will.i.am and Tom look set to leave.

“Will has not signed up and has no current intention of doing so. His argument is the lack of support the BBC give compared to other talent shows and he has gone into full battle with Katie Taylor who is the head of entertainment for the BBC in face-to-face meetings.”

The only judge who has signed is Danny O’Donoghue, 32, said the source.

The news of will.i.am and Tom’s possible exits comes days after Jessie J, 26, announced on her Twitter page that she was leaving to concentrate on a new album and tour.

But we can reveal Oritsé, 26, is one step away from being confirmed as the latest name on the panel.

Our source continued: “They could still need to find two more big names. will.i.am certainly isn’t keen on signing and it isn’t anything to do with money.

“He nets £500,000 per series. He’s always been happy with that but he doesn’t take that for himself – every year he has donated the entire amount to The Prince’s Trust.

“It is just a waiting game now to see what happens.”

A BBC spokeswoman said: “Negotiations with the three remaining judges are all ongoing.”

AS SAID ABOVE THIS IS ALL PURE SPECULATION AS 'SOURCES' OFTEN DO NOT EXIST AT ALL. THINGS ARE ONLY EVER OFFICIAL IF THE STAR OR COMPANY INVOLVED CONFIRM IT TO BE TRUE SO IN THIS CASE DANNY / THE BBC / THE VOICE

Danny O’Donoghue - 'The Voice' media reports are a load of shit!'

'The Voice UK' judge Danny O’Donoghue has revealed he was misquoted in a recent interview regarding a comment on the series.

The Script frontman sits on the hit TV talent show's panel alongside Jessie J, will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones.

Last week's nail-biting semi-final saw O'Donoghue refusing to name the artist he would take through to the finals if he could.

British newspaper The Sun quoted the star as saying: “The bosses wanted me to say if I would send home Karl Michael or Andrea Begley if it was up to me to decide, but I just couldn’t do it. I couldn’t let either of them down. There is a format to follow, but we all have morals. And every single one of the coaches does what we want.

The Sun then quoted O'Donnoghue as saying: “I probably should have answered the question, but I felt it was unfair. The number of hours both of them had put it at that point was incredible. For me it would have been like choosing a favourite child. And at the end of the day, we are trying to create an artist who will sell millions of records. So whoever won the public vote was the right person for me to have in the final, because they will sell the most records. It turned out that was Andrea.”

However, O'Donoghue has said the report is not correct, writing on his Twitter page today: "what a load of sh*t!!! (sic)."

"THE PRESS CAN BE A BIT LIKE CHINESE WHISPERS, FROM THE TIME ONE REPORTER HEARS SOMETHING THEN THINKS WHAT WOULD MAKE IT SOUND BETTER. THEY PASS IT ON AND SO ON AND BY THE TIME IT REACHES THE PAPER AND GETS OUT IT IS TWISTED ALL ROUND. I'M NOT SAYING THE PRESS IS ALWAYS LIKE THAT BUT A LOT OF IT ESPECIALLY WHEN IT SOUNDS DRAMATIC."

Tomorrow O'Donoghue's last act Andrea will go head-to-head with Leah McFall, Mike Ward and Matt Henry in the live finale of the hit TV talent show.

MIAOW! Bo's Shock Dig At Danny

The romance must be over! Bo Bruce disses Danny and says Will.i.am is 'the best' Voice coach.

Boho chick Bo Bruce and dishy Danny O'Donoghue couldn't have seemed closer on last year's The Voice. The pair may have refused to confirm a romance, but they certainly told us over and over again that they were great mates.

So we are incredibly shocked that Bo, 28 has apparently made a complete U-turn, telling us that Will.i.am is actually the best coach on the show. Her comments will come as a shock to her former mentor Danny - especially as he's bidding for victory in this Saturdays final.

Speaking EXCLUSIVELY to Now, Bo reveals: 'Danny and I worked well together because he let me boss him around. But I think Will would have led me more, even though I wanted to do my own thing at the time''

'Will is such a dude and by far the most interesting guy there. He's fearless, inspiring and eccentric. He's definitely the best judge - better than.... whatever the others are called.' DOUBLE OUCH!

But it's hard to blame Bo for her dig at Danny, 32 - after all, he's admitted to using his role on The Voice to eye up potential girlfriends. 'I'm a ladies' man,' The Script frontman recently confessed. 'There are a lot more pretty girls on the show. I'm telling them they are gorgeous because I'm single and I'm looking. I certainly wouldn't rule out dating a fan. Ever!'

Meanwhile, Bo's claimed she used her feelings for Danny as the basis of her songs on her album. On her debut single Save Me, release in April, she sang: 'You made me want you and I didn't want to. Why would you wake me if you're not gonna save me?'

The song sparked speculation that Danny had been the one to cool their relationship - but he's since denied inspiring the lyrics.

REVIEW: The Script At The Isle Of Wight Festival 2013

Musical Highlights - Day Three:

The weekend drew to a close on Sunday night as The Script rocked out a number of their legendary hits which had over 50,000 people singing in unison. The Script frontman, Danny O'Donoghue, was wild on stage when performing hits such as 'Hall of Fame,' 'Break Even' and 'Man Who Can't Be Moved,' as he ran around before jumping into the audience.

It's clear the Irish ladies man loved the female attention as he tried to make his way through the screaming crowds - much to the dismay of security. Danny's cheeky charm made for a great performance, and he even brought The Voice finalist Andrea along ahead of this weekend's final.

Best Gossip:

Laura Whitmore was a personal guest of The Script, and there were rumours that She may be dating Danny O'Donoghue but they have been good friends for a number of years now so we doubt that is the case and a source revealed Danny is secretly dating Jessie J's make-up artist, as rumours go it is to be taken with a pinch of salt unless we hear otherwise from the man himself.

Biggest Security  Faux Pax:

The most cringing celebrity fail came as Gregg from The Script was refused entry to the hospitality tent for not having a wristband - despite having just headlined the main stage. The security embarrassingly had no clue who he was, although his management and onlookers tried to convince the security otherwise. Gregg wasn't a diva about the situation and instead laughed it off, and waited patiently to be confirmed entry. The security man was later left red-faced and had to apologise. Cringe!

Janine Tugonon on breakup: 'I was at fault, My imagination ran away with me.'

MANILA, Philippines – Miss Universe 2012 first runner-up Janine Tugonon made it clear that she does not want her most recent mistake in her love life to define her as a person.

Tugonon draw flak after her very public announcement of her breakup with her non-showbiz boyfriend, Jaypee Santos, during their appearance on the morning show “Kris TV” last April.

The split was reportedly because of Tugonon’s attraction to The Script vocalist Danny O'Donoghue, who performed in the Philippines last March.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Wednesday, Tugonon admitted that she learned a lot from the breakup.

“I accept that I was wrong. Alam ko na ako ang at fault, alam ko na ako ang mali, but I wouldn’t like that failure to define who I am. Ayaw ko na 'yun ang magdikta sa kung ano ang gagawin ko sa mga susunod pa. Mistakes do happen, but it doesn’t have to dictate me where I am going,” she said.

She also denied reports that she flew to France after the controversy erupted so she could run away from the problem.

“My France trip was planned January pa lang. Matagal na iyon. It was moved lang ng April kasi nga there’s Binibining Pilipinas and I’m busy before the pageant. They moved it ng after Binibini. It’s not because of the issue or because of anything. It’s really for vacation lang,” she said.

The beauty queen said she and Santos remain friends, but she does not want to think of a possible reconciliation just yet.

“I am not really focusing on that right now. Work and kung ano pa ang mga future na gagawin ko sa life ko [ang focus ko ngayon]. With the controversy that happened, everything was shaken. 'Yung family ko, ako rin, naiba na ang mga gusto kong gawin,” she said.

As for O'Donoghue, she said: “I really don’t want to talk about it. Huwag na natin pag-usapan.”

It appears as we all thought that she was simply infatuated with Danny and mistook his flirty, fun and friendly nature as a green light for a relationship.

The Voice UK 'Fast Pass' Twist Returning For First Live Show?

The quarter-finals of the BBC competition have been moved forward to a Friday night to avoid clashing with the Britain's Got Talent finale on Saturday, and in a further bid to spice up the competition, bosses have allegedly kept the Fast Pass twist from the Knockout rounds in tact.

It is rumoured that each coach will be able to put one of their three remaining artists through automatically; leaving the remaining two to battle it out in the public vote. It is then assumed that one artist from each of the four teams will leave the competition tomorrow night.

So we will all wait and see what the quarter-final brings

The Voice is reportedly set for a third series

The Voice' will return next year for a third series'

The news is expected to be confirmed in the next few weeks, although it is not yet known whether the current judges - Sir Tom Jones, Jessie J, Danny O'Donoghue and will.i.am - will return. Although the BBC are ready to pay big money for a third series and for the judges.

'He Hasn't Tried It On': The Voice's Sarah Cassidy Denies Romantic Involvemnent With 'Gentleman' Danny O' Donoghue

The Glaswegian beauty is happily dating fellow contestant Alex Buchanan

The Voice contestant Sarah Cassidy has denied that she was chatted up by judge Danny O’Donoghue.

The pretty brunette revealed in an interview that the Script frontman has been nothing but a gentleman towards her despite the rumours.

"Obviously he is a really great guy and has fun on the show," the Glaswegian songstress, who is currently dating fellow Voice contestant Alex Buchanan, told the Sunday People.

Danny has been candid about the fact that he is opening to finding love on the talent show while working on the second series and was linked to runner-up singer Bo Bruce just last year.

Cassidy added: "I bump into him in the corridor sometimes. But he hasn’t tried it on with me. He wouldn’t do that. He’s a real gentleman."

The 31-year-old singer also explained why she wanted to appear on The Voice rather than rival talent shows like Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor.

"It meant more to me being on The Voice. I wanted them to turn around because of my voice rather than anything else. Before I thought people would just pick me because of the way I looked… It means more to me to know that they like my voice."

Let's hope that puts an end to all the rumours!

The Voice UK: Danny O'Donoghue falls for Hollyoaks' Alice Barlow!

The Voice 2013 coach Danny O’Donoghue has reportedly fallen for one of the show’s artists, former Hollyoaks star Alice Barlow.

The soap star was killed off from the Channel 4 series in 2011, and has now turned her attention from acting to singing.

And Danny was so impressed with her version of Carly Rae Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe he even BLUSHED.

He said: “She’s a lovely-looking girl,” before fellow coach Sir Tom Jones added: “Yeah, and she can really sing.”

Jessie J then teased The Script frontman, saying: “I bet you like the way she looks though!”
But despite more flattering comments from The Script frontman, Alice said there was no chance of any romance!

“It is very nice of him and really flattering but I have a boyfriend,” she said.

A supposed show insider told The Sun newspaper today: “Danny has become the ladies’ man this year.

“He’s been bribing female audience members with sweets and hugs throughout filming to get them on side.”

Last year’s auditions saw quite a few (sort of) famous people performing for the panel, including a member of 5ive.

And this year as well as ex-boyband members and soap actresses, there’s also Olympians performing for Jessie J, Danny O’Donoghue, Sir Tom Jones and Will.i.am.

Bronze medalist Hurdler Tasha Danvers has decided on a change of career after injury prevented her from taking part in the London 2012 games last year.

“This is a big deal for Tasha and would give her a major boost to becoming a singing star. She got a bronze in the Olympics but she would love to score gold on ‘The Voice’,” a source told the Daily Star recently.

The Script Singer Silent On Issue With Janine

Singer Danny O’Donoghue became active once again on Twitter, days after it was reported that he was one of the reasons behind the breakup of beauty queen Janine Tugonon and Jaypee Santos.

Twitter was on fire last week as Filipino netizens from across the globe voiced their opinions on Tugonon’s announcement on national television that he has broken up with Santos, who was right beside her at the time, and her constant mention of O’Donoghue, the lead vocalist of the Irish pop-rock band The Script.

The breakup buzz has even generated an Internet meme called “Na-Janine.”

But O’Donoghue, who returned to “tweeting” on April 19, has not said anything about the issue, or even Tugonon.

His posts for the past days only involved the reality singing contest “The Voice UK,” where he sits as one of the judges.

O’Donoghue was recently told off for flirting with the contestants of “The Voice UK,” according to a report from MTV.

The lead vocalist of The Script met Tugonon when they performed in Manila early this year.

‘Time of confusion’

Last week, Santos said Tugonon went through what he called “a time of confusion” when she got attracted to O’Donoghue. He made the statement as some Twitter users said his defense of Tugonon is aimed at controlling the damage the breakup may cause to the beauty queen’s future showbiz career.

Defending his ex-girlfriend once again, Santos said Tugonon was “only confused during those times,” adding that “no actions have been made beyond that attraction.”

He also appealed to the public to stop judging Tugonon based on the statements she made on the ABS-CBN morning show “Kris TV,” which was taped nearly a month ago.

Santos then expressed optimism that he and Tugonon will eventually patch things up.
