Warren Holmes styles Danny O’Donoghue’s hair for The Voice

International Creative Director Warren Holmes has begun cutting and styling the hair for judge of The hit TV Show ‘The Voice‘ and The Script frontman Danny O’Donoghue. Warren and Danny’s first collaboration was for the front cover of Fabulous Magazine from the Sunday Sun. Warren will be styling Danny for The Voice Live shows and press. 

I wanted to move Danny’s hair away from being commercial and take the back off. We definitely wanted to channel a feeling that was more appropriate for the runway but still very wearable, we were both massively on the same page with that. He’s really good at doing his own hair so I was able to be a bit more creative with how I approached it. We’re planning on taking the sides and back even shorter for the live shows to create more drama on top. Danny O’Donoghue Hairstyle

Danny O’Donoghue is a singer, songwriter and currently the lead man of the group known as The Script. He does vocals, plays the guitar and the keyboard. Over the years when he has been in the public eye, he has manifested a number of mid-length styles.

The spiked look features the dark haired artist with two to three-inch locks on the crown, sides, and back of his head. The spikes are brought up and back. The hair in front of the ears and in the temple area is flattened and trimmed in a broad wedge shape. Since the front locks are lifted up and away from the forehead, it leaves the forehead almost squared off.

From there the line it straight upward to meet the hairline above the forehead. It effectively emphasizes his very attractive eyes. Whether smooth or spiked, he makes the most of his healthy looking hair.
