The Voice' will return next year for a third series'
The TV singing competition will be back in 2014 with the BBC said to be prepared to spend £22 million on the show.
Its latest series has seen a consistent viewership of over seven million and it could be enough to save the programme after a worrying first run.
An inside told The Sun newspaper: "The Beeb feels it's a great show and you need to pay the big bucks for programmes like that."
The news is expected to be confirmed in the next few weeks, although it is not yet known whether the current judges - Sir Tom Jones, Jessie J, Danny O'Donoghue and will.i.am - will return. Although the BBC are ready to pay big money for a third series and for the judges.
