Dan's Up For A Fight
The Voice's Danny O'Donoghue claims he is spoiling for a fight with fellow mentor Jessie J.
The Script star, 32, can't wait for Jessie to slip up. He said: "Then I get to fight with her steal her act - and hopefully rubbed it in her face too."
Danny also bragged that the other coaches have no hope of beating him - because he is putting in more hours. He insisted: "I have the best team."

Battle Rounds Song Choices & Pairings Revealed!
Jessie J, Will.i.am, Danny O’Donoghue and Tom Jones each have twelve contestants in their teams going into the Battle Rounds and will form six pairings, pitting their talented performers against one another, knowing that they can only take one of each duo through to the forthcoming knockout stage.
However, in a twist to this year’s format, each unlucky singer will have one chance of a lifeline, as the other coaches will have a chance to steal whichever artist is dropped by their co-star for their own teams.
Before the acts even take to the stage, the stars spent a long time deliberating with their battle assistants over song choices, pairings and styles and here are the choices they made:
Team Danny:
Andrea Begley vs Alice Barlow – People Help The People by Birdy.

Team Jessie:
Katie Benbow vs Sarah Cassidy: ET by Katy Perry.
Team Tom:
Jordan Lee Davies vs Matt Henry – Do I Do by Stevie Wonder

The Voice 2013 Battle Rounds: Andrea Begley vs Alice Barlow And Danny O’Donoghue Gets Touchy Feely!
Andrea Begley and Alice Barlow are set to go head to head on The Voice tomorrow night, in the first Battle Rounds episode of the 2013 series.
The partially sighted singer and the former Hollyoaks actress will be the first female pairing to take to the stage, and battle it out to win the one place on offer in Team Danny O’Donoghue.
However, the whole thing starts with some tears, as The Script reveals that he has chosen the Birdy song ‘People Help The People’ for the pair to sing and Andrea admitted that the song choice might give her the edge, saying:
“Alice is brilliant at performing, but maybe the song might give me the edge because of it’s emotional style.”
Barlow agrees and finds it hard to open up during her rendition and during rehearsals she breaks down in tears, saying:
“Her voice is so pure and innocent. I’m not used to showing who I am in front of millions of people. I’m used to playing a role.”
The former Hollyoaks actress adds:
“She’s amazing at showing how she’s feeling and I struggle because I am used to putting on a persona and not being me.”
Danny, who previously admitted that he finds Alice incredibly attractive, took the opportunity to give the blonde beauty some hugs and cuddles, which we’re sure didn’t please her boyfriend much!
Tune into The Voice tomorrow night to see how the duet goes, how the coaches react and which singer Danny picks to take forward to his team for the next round.

Alice Gets O’DonogHUG Just Like Bo
Voice coach cuddles stunning blonde
Tear we go again ... Danny O'Donoghue comforts Alice Barlow on show
VOICE coach Danny O’Donoghue cuddles stunning blonde Alice Barlow in tomorrow night’s show.
The Script frontman was mesmerised after turning his chair for the former Hollyoaks actress in the blind auditions, telling her she was “a lovely-looking girl”.
He was so impressed with her version of Carly Rae Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe he even BLUSHED.
And in the latest show, which airs on BBC1 tomorrow at 8.35pm, he steps in to comfort the singer when she wells up during rehearsals for the battle rounds.
Embrace ... Alice cries during rehearsal
Alice, who played Rae Wilson in the Channel 4 soap, is pitted against visually-impaired Andrea Begley for a performance of Birdy’s People Help The People.
But after rehearsing with Andrea, viewers will see Alice admit: “Andrea’s voice is so pure and innocent. I’m not used to showing who I am in front of millions of people.”
She then tearfully tells her mentor: “Andrea is so amazing at being able to do it with such feeling. I struggle because I’m used to putting on a persona and not being me.”
Single Danny, who split from girlfriend Irma Mali during last year’s series, leans in to hug the singer, saying: “Come here, love. Don’t cry, don’t cry.”
Close ... Danny O'Donoghue with Bo Bruce in 2012
He is later seen giving Alice, from Cheshire, a thumbs-up during dress rehearsals, telling her: “Really nice, yeah, sounds great.” Coach Danny got tongues wagging last year after getting close to The Voice act Bo Bruce. She made the show final alongside Vince Kidd and winner Leanne Mitchell.
His obvious soft spot for Alice after her first audition won him a ribbing from fellow mentor Jessie J, who teased him: “I bet you like the way she looks, though!”
But at the time Alice insisted she would not be won over by Danny.
She said: “It is very nice of him and really flattering but I have a boyfriend.”

EXCLUSIVE! The Voice’s Bo Bruce on Danny O'Donoghue: ‘I'm Sure We Can Hang Out, Just Not In Public’
Everyone seems fascinated by Bo Bruce’s will they or won’t they relationship with her former coach from The Voice Danny O’Donoghue.
Bo has now admitted that there is a good chance that she will spend some time with Danny in the future, but unfortunately we won’t know anything about it because she wants to keep her private life private. Drat!
“I'm very much trying to stay away from the limelight. Danny knows how to keep his life out of the limelight and I do too. I'm sure we can hang out, in a non [public way]. It just got so full on, it was very new for me,” she tells heat of the speculation surrounding her relationship with the Script singer.
Bo also admits that she’s happy to be away from The Voice because all of the attention her relationship with Danny caused became too much,
“I'm happy to have moved on from The Voice. Because of the ‘will they, won't they’ stories about Danny and I. I just didn't think it was possible to make a record with all that attention. I didn't think I was going to get there,” she says of making her album
And on the subject of music, Bo has singled out will.i.am as The Voice coach she would most like to work with in the future.
“Will.i.am's crew and management I really go on with in the show. I'd like to work with Will.i.am, but I will work on my own stuff for now,” she says of a possible collaboration.

Why Danny O’Donoghue Will Win The Voice!
Forget the haters. Irish charmer Danny O’Donoghue has the best team on The Voice this year…
Danny has some of the best singers - and personalities - in the competition! And I think he could actually win the show this year.
The thing is, Danny hasn't - as he's been accused of - been indecisive when picking his team. He was playing the game. Just because Sir Tom Jones, Jessie J or Will.i.am said they loved a singer first or pressed their button straight away, doesn't mean Danny followed the pack or had to be persuaded to join in.
How many times did Will.i.am wait until the last note was being sung to slam that red button and sneak in on the action? (I haven't counted but it was, like, loads of times!)
You only had to watch Danny talk the acts into joining his team to see how passionate he is about the contestants.
With Now favourites Andrea Begley, Mitchel Emms, Nadeem Leigh and Alice Barlow about to fight it out in the battle rounds with the rest of Team Danny this weekend, it's fair to say he has one of the strongest teams ever!

Dido To Help Danny O'Donoghue In The Battle Rounds
Singer Dido will be on hand to help out Danny O’Donoghue in the upcoming Voice UK battle rounds
After the final blind auditions at the weekend, the potential Voice 2013 finalists have been confirmed, with just 48 hopefuls left in the running.
But half of them will be cut this weekend as the Battle Rounds begin.
In the Battles each Coach will pair up their acts to sing against each other in a series of sure to be exciting vocal duets, which will decide who will progress to the next stage.
After each Battle, the Artists’ own Coach must decide from each pairing who will progress to the next round and who to send home.
Before the performances however, the Coaches along with trusted fellow pop stars and music industry veterans – their Battle Advisors – will dedicate themselves to developing their Artists, sharing the secrets of their success and making their team’s voices the very best they can be.
Last year’s battle advisors included Paloma Faith, Scissor Sisters star Ana Matronic and Dante Santiago.
Dante will be back helping out Will.i.am this year, while Dido will be giving Danny and his artists a pre-battle pep talk and training.
The Voice UK battle rounds start on Saturday night at 8:35PM on BBC One.

Danny O’Donoghue Nicknamed ‘Danny Dustbin’
“They call me Danny Dustbin when I’m on tour in the US.
THE Voice judge Danny O’Donoghue has been dubbed “Danny Dustbin” by his band because of his love of Man v Food binges.
They said he often looked for restaurants offering eating challenges when he was touring with The Script.
And just like Adam Richman, the Star of the food-gorging shows, he often walks away with a T-shirt for putting away the grub.
Danny, 32, said: “They call me Danny Dustbin when I’m on tour in the US.
“I love the food challenges and can stick plenty away.”
A record label insider added: “Danny is tall and skinny, and doesn’t look like the kind of guy who can shove away six hamburgers.
“But he’s like a machine when he’s got a mountain of food in front of him.
“It is a question of head down and arms out and don’t look up until the plate is licked clean.”
Danny is currently gearing up for the live shows of The Voice and he’s back in London getting ready for the next stage of the series.

Danny Has A Meltdown As He Brands Will.i.am An Idiot
Danny has been hovering dangerously close to Will’s rear end for weeks now, heaping praise and compliments on his US pal during the blind audition rounds.
However, things turned sour on Saturday' show as they have a war of words during the last blind round
“There’s an argument that puts a stop to our bromance. Will’s an idiot as he missed out on three brilliant singers.”
Danny has a bit of a meltdown, because he has no places left on his team, yet none of his fellow coaches turn for a particularly talented singer.
He shouts at will, who has a few spots left, saying:
“I am really mad at him for not turning around. I don’t know why you didn’t turn around? Please can you explain to me? You’re an idiot.”
But the Scream and Shout singer hits back saying:
“Just because Danny is unable to pick them doesn’t mean that I should hit it. I really truly believe that certain people should be with certain folk.
“Throughout the show I’ve been saying a lot of times I don’t turn around because I feel they should be with a different coach.”
As the audition draws to an end, the Irish star gets even more incensed and yells:
“Nobody going? That’s a shame! Oh my god!”
He faces his fellow coaches and points at each of them, shouting:
“Dumb, dumb, dumb.”
A show insider told The Mirror:
“Danny is the first to fill all the places on his team so finds it desperately frustrating to have to sit back and watch amazing singers get away. He is genuinely shocked that none of the other coaches turn for some of the acts. He’s so disappointed with one act not getting through he offers his number so they can work together in future.”

The Voice Will Air On Saturday & Sunday For Battle Rounds! Read All About It…..
Fans of The Voice, you have quite a weekend ahead, we promise you.
Last year we were glued to the show’s Battle Rounds, which sees the coaches pitting their teams against one another in duos, knowing that only one from each pair can go on to the next stage.
After six weeks of blind auditions, next weekend we move to the following stage and there is so much talent on display, that the series is moving into double episodes airing on both Saturday and Sunday nights.
Before the singers take to the ring, to go head to head with their teammates, they will first benefit from training and masterclasses with their coaches and their Battle Advisors – who included Paloma Faith and Cerys Matthews in 2012 – who will pass on their tips and techniques for the best vocal performances.
Next, Jessie J, will.i.am, Tom Jones and Danny O’Donoghue will split their artists into pairs and after they perform, the coach can only choose one for the knockout rounds.
But fear not, there will be a lifeline for those being sent home. This year, after the result of each battle round is revealed, the other coaches will have a decision on their hands and they will be permitted to ‘steal’ the losing act for their own team.
So, if a singer failed to choose them after their blind audition, this could be their chance to win them back.
The steal could end in another pitching war though as each coach can only steal one singer and if more than one star wants that contestant then the choice falls back into the wannabe’s hand and they have to pick who they most want to work with.
At the end of the battle, 7 acts from each team, 28 overall, will progress to the knockout rounds and be one step closer to the live shows in June.

I’m Using Voice To Pull Girls - Says Danny O'Donoghue
FLIRTY coach Danny O’Donoghue has admitted he’s using The Voice to check out the prettiest girls.
The singer-songwriter, 2, reckons the BBC1 show is perfect for EYEING UP talent as well as spotting it.
He said: “I’m a ladies man. There are a lot of pretty girls on the show. I’m telling them they are gorgeous because I am single and I am looking!”
Danny, who was romantically linked to last year’s runner-up Bo Bruce, 28, has also admitted: “I wouldn’t rule out dating a fan or a contestant. Ever!”
The Script frontman – single since splitting from model Irma Mali, 29, in June last year – revealed fellow coach Sir Tom Jones had given him some pulling tips
But he reckons the sexbomb star, 72, will always be the No1 babe magnet. He said: Tom just says, ‘Be cool and shut up!’. I think I ruin my chances by opening my mouth and letting it run. But as soon as Tom switches it on, all the girls head over to him.”
Despite looking for love, Irish Danny reckons the female attention he has received since appearing on The Voice has turned him into a RECLUSE.
He said: “One in ten people recognised me before, but now it’s crazy. I’m a bit of a recluse. I have to stay in the house.”
On Saturday's show, Danny was seen rowing with fellow coach Will.i.am, 38. He said: “There’s an argument that puts a stop to our bromance. Will’s an idiot as he missed out on three brilliant singers.”
Last year The Voice crashed in the ratings, but Danny said: “It’s a lot more exciting this year. The editing is faster and the contestants are good.”
