She pulled off amazing performances week after week on The Voice up until her win, but talented singer Andrea Begley has admitted that she had coach Danny O'Donoghue struggled to find songs to perform every week.
Following her victory last weekend, EntertainmentWise caught up with Andrea where she told us: "Most of the song choices I made myself but towards the end we were both struggling, trying to put our heads together."
Confessing that choosing a song to perform week after week is harder than it looks, Andrea who beat show favourite Leah McFall, added: "You'd be surprised at how difficult it is to come up with a killer song so he (Danny) definitely dedicated his time to that."
Despite their struggles to find the perfect song, Andrea declared that Danny was a "really great" coach. She said of The Script frontman: "He's great. He's really great. He's such a fun person and really down to earth. Just very normal. He's very musically talented, he knows how to advise you and he gave me such good advice about music arrangement and about vocals."
Whilst Andrea and Danny may no longer be working together, Andrea hasn't ruled out working on new music with Danny in the future.
She added: "I'd like to. I certainly would. He's been in contact to say that he'd like to work with me."
Speaking of music, Andrea who appeared on ITV's This Morning yesterday, revealed that she would like to release music by Christmas.
"I'm quite busy for the next few months," she said. "The idea is to get an album together pretty quickly and I met the label yesterday to discuss what we are going to do and at the moment I have some of my own material which I'd like to try and get on to the new album and hopefully get something out in the shops before Christmas."
She added: "Everybody is obviously aware that last year things didn't go maybe as well as they could've done, and I think lessons have been learned. And certainly it's important I think to build on things at the moment and get something out there soon - hopefully that will turn things this year."
