MANILA – The Irish band The Script, known for hits such as "The Man Who Can't Be Moved," "Breakeven," "Hall Of Fame" and "Six Degrees of Separation," arrived in Manila on Sunday for their one-night concert at the Araneta Coliseum.
Visiting the country for the second time, band members Mark Sheehan and Glen Power said they are excited to be performing before their Filipino fans once again.
The group first performed before a sold-out crowd in Manila two years ago.
Vocalist Danny O'Donoghue, for his part, thanked Filipinos for treating them “very nicely.”
“I’m very tired because we just got off a massive plane. But it’s been amazing so far. You could expect us to go crazy [tonight],” he said.
Asked what song they are going to dedicate before their solid supporters in the country, O'Donoghue said: "'Hall of Fame' for sure because an awesome song is for an awesome country.”
“We genuinely love coming back here. 'Hall of Fame' is doing so well around the world and we just want to share that song,” he added
