Classic Moments

4 February 2013

Danny O’Donoghue has said he’s more relaxed on The Voice UK 2013.

The Voice 2013 start date is set for BBC One in the Spring and the show’s team have already filmed the auditions.

Will, Jessie J, Danny O’Donoghue and Sir Tom Jones reunited last December to start building their teams for the second series.

The foursome have been filming auditions in Manchester, and the location isn’t the only thing that’s changing.

Will.i.am has promised a lot more action from the second run of the reality talent show.

He said: “There’s going to be more stories, more drama, more excitement, more criticism, more honesty, more surprise.”

And speaking from the latest auditions in Manchester, Danny said: “I’m more relaxed this time. The first time I thought I had lots to prove.”

And it seems that the Voice vs X Factor war is back on once again with both shows now out with something to prove.

Danny claimed: “We were treated unfairly by the press. The Voice is the premier singing show in the UK.

“We’ve seen this season’s X Factor and I know we have a better show. I watched ten minutes [of the X Factor] and switched off.”

The hunky singer will be back alongside Jessie J, Will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones in an unchanged panel, a good decision by BBC Bosses.

Danny admitted that he didn’t like the idea of not getting all four of the coaches back together, saying: “I was a bit upset when I Heard Jessie J might not return, because she’s a huge talent and not shy of making a few headlines.”
