R&B star Ne-Yo would love to work with The Script
Superstar Ne-Yo, who has worked with the likes of Pitbull and Beyonce, has a soft spot for all things Irish -- especially our music.
The American is currently enjoying a short stay in Dublin and is full of praise for the local talent.
"I'm a huge fan of The Script and would definitely love to work with them," he told the Herald.
"I think they are incredible songwriters as well."
The 30-year-old paid the ultimate compliment to the band's front man, Danny O'Donoghue, describing the Dublin native as one of the best male voices around. "It's just incredible," said the laidback star. And he adds that he would be more than happy to write a song for boyband One Direction
"I would absolutely write a song for them, tell them to give me a call."
This is the first time Ne-Yo has touched down in Ireland since cancelling c his O2 gig in 2011.
He is in Dublin to launch new alcoholic drink Malibu Red at the Wright Venue in Swords. He returns to the capital for a gig in Dublin's O2 in March.
