Top 10 Twitter Wars - James Arthur hits back at Danny O'Donoghue

'Impossible' singer says he kept them from the top spot

James Arthur is no stranger to Twitter feuds at this point, but it seems that the X Factor winner could be involved in yet another argument.

Danny O'Donoghue was recently asked about 2012 winner James Arthur in an interview with The Mirror, after it was claimed that Arthur auditioned for The Voice.

O'Donoghue responded with, "I’ve never heard of him. He didn’t make it through. 30,000 people audition and then they get whittled down to what gets presented to us, so he obviously didn't make it through to that part."

Fellow judge Will.i.am added, "Who's James Arthur?"

It seems that Arthur didn't appreciate the comments, as he took to his Twitter account to hit out at The Script's frontman.

Writing on his account, Arthur tweeted, ""Who's James Arthur?" .. He was the dude keeping you off the top spot for weeks.. Sights set higher than the voice #whereisthelove"

The Voice Winner Andrea Begley: 'Danny O'Donoghue Put Me Through My Paces In The Studio'

Andrea Begley won The Voice back in June this year and ever since then she's been hard at work on her debut album 'The Message' but luckily she has had some help from her Voice mentor Danny O'Donoghue.

The Belfast born singer spoke to EntWise about working with The Script front man on her new material and how he is there for advice whenever she needs him.

Andrea and Danny performing on The Voice

Andrea revealed to us that her favourite track on her forthcoming record is in fact the one that Danny helped out on: “The Message, the title track [is my favourite] I love it, it's the one Danny produced on the album,” she admitted.

Even though Danny is busy being a rock star with his own band, they have still managed to keep in touch and even spent time in the studio:

“We've stayed in contact a lot via email, but he's been out of the country quite a bit over the summer with the band. We did some work in the studio over 'The Message', it was great to be working with him in that environment, [it was] just a bit different I suppose away from all the cameras. He's very much at home in the studio, he loves working in the studio,” explained Andrea.

Danny has helped Andrea out with her new album

Although Danny is incredibly busy, Andrea does not rule out working with him again in the future:

“He's very much tied up with all things The Script at the moment, he's been mad writing for that. You never know in the future it would be cool to work together, If [The Script] ever wanted to I’d love to.”

Andrea may have proved her talents by winning The Voice but Danny still pushed Andrea to be at her very best in the studio:

Andrea is releasing her debut album on October 21

“He put me through my paces and we got a really good track, I’m really happy with the track and I think it sounds fantastic. I’m really glad we took as much time over it as we did. He was really helpful and he's left his door open if I need any advice. He's heard a lot of the other tracks on the album and he's really happy with them which is cool,”she revealed.

Andrea's album 'The Message' comprises of a mixture of covers and original songs and will be out on October 21. The 'My Immortal' singer will also be performing live in November, she will be playing at Ulster Hall in Belfast on November 3 and at the Union Chapel in Islington on November 4.

Script frontman O'Donoghue turns heads on cover of Cosmo (2008)

The Good Ole Days

Danny O'Donoghue attends/performs at the launch of SonyBMG and O2's new music service at The O2 on August 7, 2008 in London, England

Dublin rock star Danny O'Donoghue is fast becoming a worldwide object of desire after landing a full page photoshoot in Cosmopolitan.

O'Donoghue, who fronts the massively successful rock group the Script, has been given a complete style overhaul by the internationally renowned glossy mag.

The self-confessed casual dresser donned a dapper suit for the pictorial and, as our exclusive pictures show, he looks every bit the pop star.

"I love it. The last time I wore a suit like this was at my sister's wedding! But I'm into experimenting and I've never been afraid to try new things, even if it's something I wouldn't normally wear," Danny said.

The rock musician admitted that his own look is a lot more casual.

"Battered, vintage leather jackets. I own five second-hand ones in brown and black, and can't help but feel like a cool rock star when I put one on," he explains.

Dream

Even rockstars have their fashion faux pas, but it seems Danny had an unusual favourite as a teenager.

"I was well into shell suits -- I had one in every colour," he said.

Danny is one of six celebrity men who has taken part in the men's fashion shoot and will feature beside T4 presenter Rick Edwards and TV star, singer and all-round showman, John Barrowman.

According to Tracy Ramsden, who wrote the accompanying feature, Danny could well have a career in modelling if his singing career falls through.

"He was an absolute dream to work with and was happy to go along with whatever we asked him to do," she said.

"We wanted to give him a different look because he usually likes to dress down in jeans and T-shirts, so we put him in a blazer and tie ensemble and he looked fantastic.

"He was a natural at modelling and followed direction very well. We all fell in love with him to be honest because he was just so down to earth and friendly -- there was nothing diva-like about him at all," she added.

Hectic

And while Tracy said Danny thoroughly enjoyed the shoot, he definitely won't be leaving the airwaves for a career on the catwalk.

"He said he'd love to do something similar again but he's pretty busy at the moment with the band and that's where his priorities lie.

"He has a hectic schedule so we were lucky to get him," she told the Herald.

The Script and rapper B.o.B collaborate on Walk Away Dec 2010.

The Good Ole Days, The Script met B.o.B in 2010 and collaborated on Walk Away from Science & Faith

The Script and rapper B.o.B hang out in Florida in December 2010.

The guys from Irish band The Script haven't forgotten about their US fans, who made their song "Breakeven" a Top 20 hit on the Hot 100 last year - The Danny O'Donoghue-led group will return in the coming weeks to the states to promote their newest studio album "Science & Faith" which will hit stores in the country this January 18th (2011). They did get to release "For the First Time" in America last year, but schedule problems prevented the lads from going to the USA to promote it, so they decided to focus first in Europe and then this year cross the pond again. And The Script have enlisted track #9 on the CD - and one of the stand-outs - "Walk Away" to become their first *real* single in the states.

However, the version The Script will release there will vary from the original. Rapper B.o.B joins in the official US edit. "Wow, I never ever imagined a collabo between The Script and Bobby Ray, but that has happened. And gladly this risky experiment has turned out pretty well!" B.o.B already tried some pop/rock on his debut album so he blended well with The Script's tune.
