'The Voice' UK: Danny O'Donoghue Favourite Coach To Win

Danny O'Donoghue has emerged as the early favourite to be the winning coach on this year's series of The Voice UK.

Ladbrokes have installed the Script singer as the early 2/1 favourite to lead an act to victory.

He is currently ahead of Jessie J in second, with Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am currently in joint third.

Jessie J has current odds of 11/4 to be this year's winning coach, while Jones and will.i.am share odds of 3/1.

It was Sir Tom Jones who took the title of winning coach on last year's series, with his act Leanne Mitchell taking the crown. However, O'Donoghue has already set his sights on him.

The 32-year-old recently said: "I kind of need to up my game. I don't want Sir Tom to win again!"

Jessica Bridge, a spokesperson for Ladbrokes, revealed: "It's still early days, but at the moment the script is written for Danny to win it."

Viewers saw O'Donoghue secure the first singer for his team on last night's show, as Northern Ireland's Andrea Begley chose to join Team Danny.

He and Jones currently have just one act in their teams, will.i.am has two and Jessie J signed up three of her 12 singers.

The Voice UK continues next Saturday (April 7) at 7pm on BBC One.
