7 Things You Need To Know About Series 2

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii,

Unless you’ve been stuck up a tree for the last couple of weeks, you’ll know that The Voice UK is returning to your screens (and your ears) THIS SATURDAY. We don’t want to give too much away but we thought you might like to know seven things to get you in the mood for the new series.

1) YOU CAN PLAY ALONG WITH THE SHOW

This year, we’ve launched an all-new, all-dope game called The Voice Predictor. On Saturday night, you’ll be able to play the game LIVE during the show by predicting which team each artist will join. You can even play in the week by predicting who will make it through in each Saturday’s show. Why not go and have a play now?

2) THE COACHES WILL BE PERFORMING TOGETHER

Move the coffee table out of the way and get ready to dance around your living room because our four superduperstar coaches will be opening series 2 with a barnstorming group performance.

3) SEE JESSIE’S HAIR BEFORE SHE SHAVED IT OFF

The Blind Auditions were filmed not long before Jessie J bravely shaved her head for Comic Relief. We think her new look is great but if you miss her sleek, long locks, make sure you watch Saturday’s show to reminisce about those fine follicles.

4) THERE WILL BE TISSUES

We’ve been lucky enough to see episode 1 (are you jealous?) and we’ve only just stopped sobbing. Make sure you’re wearing waterproof mascara and you’ve got a box of tissues handy because we got emotional at least THREE TIMES during the first episode. Sniff...

5) ALL FOUR COACHES TURN THREE TIMES IN EPISODE 1

Three of the acts in episode 1 are so mind-blowingly, spectacularly awesome that they sent all four of our coaches into a spin. It’s a rare feat but when it happens, it’s very exciting...

6) “WE’RE GOING TO WAR!”

The coaches are determined to win the best artists for their teams this year so things get a little...heated between them sometimes. They’re all ready for battle and are taking no prisoners. It’s a bit like Braveheart... but no-one dies. In the words of Danny O’Donoghue, “I’m not here to enjoy the competition. I’m here to destroy the competition.”

7) WILL.I.AM IS WILL.I.AM

Our favourite American, Mr i.am, is more unpredictable than ever this year. Keep your eyes peeled in the first episode for a glimpse into his mad world. As Jessie J says, “I think he’s lost the plot!”
