The Voice returns to our screens on 30 March.
Yes, that means it’s only 18 days until we get Jessie J, Danny O'Donoghue, Tom Jones and will.i.am back in those amazing swivel chairs!
It’s back…
We were down at the launch earlier and aside from will.i.am ordering scrambled eggs for lunch and Danny’s quiff looking in tip-top condition – we can say that this series sounds like it’s going to be pretty exciting.
The show will remain largely the same and will consist of four main parts: the blind auditions, the battles, the knock outs and the live shows.
And in very good news, Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates will be returning to host the show.
What's new...
A new twist has been added where now, after the battles – the losing artist could be ‘stolen’ by a rival coach! The judges only have one opportunity to steal, so we’re expecting some seriously difficult decisions ahead.
This year, the judges will have 12 vocalists on their team, rather than ten and when they reach the knock-outs – will be allowed to chose three top finalists from the remaining seven to go through to the live rounds.
At this point, the artists will pick their ‘killer song’, after which, Jessie, Danny, Will and Tom will decide which three from their groups to take forward.
We’ve started the countdown now. Bring it on!
