The Voice UK 2013 live finalists are chosen!
The Voice UK 2013 won’t return to BBC One for a while yet, but the coaches have been busy working on their teams.
Jessie J, Sir Tom Jones, Danny O’Donoghue and Will.i.am are all back and now each have three acts ready for the live finals in the summer.
The last round of eliminations saw a new twist called the knockouts, as the teams were halved after getting just one killer performance to impress their coach.
The official BBC Voice Twitter account teased: “And so concludes the pre-recorded bits. To our artists, you were amazing. To our coaches, you were amazing. To our beds, you look amazing.”
And it sounds as though there were some stand out performances as the artists fought for a spot in the live shows, with the account later earlier tweeting: “It’s that time again, people. @TheScript_Danny’s hairs are all standing up. It’s a hairy ovation. He’s Hairy O’Donoghue. Hair of fame. #hair”
Bosses have made plenty of improvements to the shows format this year, following in the steps of the US show.
“There’s loads of different changes, knockout stages, there’s parts where we can steal each other’s artists,” Danny revealed recently.
The audition shows are reported to start on BBC One on March 30, while the live shows start on June 8.
