Olympian Tasha Danvers has auditioned for 'The Voice'. The hurdler - who earned a bronze medal at the Beijing 2008 Games - tried out for the latest series of the BBC singing competition in a bid to become a singer after an injury prevented her from competing in the London 2012 Olympics.
Tasha isn't the only famous face hoping to impress coaches Danny O'Donoghue, Jessie J, Tom Jones and will.i.am, as former 'Hollyoaks' actress Alice Barlow will also be seen on the second series. Alice - whose character Rae Wilson was killed off in 2011 after falling victim to notorious killer Silas Blissett - has reportedly earned a spot in the battle rounds. A source told website, SoapSquawk: "She's through to the battle rounds so everyone's got their fingers crossed she can go all the way. "Alice has a fantastic voice and certainly looks like a popstar!"
Other notable names who have auditioned include former Hear'Say singer Danny Foster and Cleo Higgins of girl band Cleopatra, the three piece girl band who managed to take the nation by storm with their upbeat, fun loving bubble gum pop and infectious personalities.Every young girl wanted to be the long lost fourth member of platinum selling girl group Cleopatra around the UK, Europe and America to showcase their new-found stardom.
