The Script Takes Vorst By Storm

Irish Indie band The Script is right up for a good climb up the ladder of success and goes really strong in our country as well. The threesome from Dublin – when playing live reinforced with a session musician – started out in 2001, but it wasn’t until 2008 that they causes a real musical wave.

The album The Script sold 2 million times quickly and it catapulted the band straight to being the support act for U2 and Paul McCartney.

They hardly sold half of the tickets available for The Marquee for Rock Werchter 2009, but in 2011 they sold out Ancienne Belgique without a problem. Yesterday evening the band performed hits like The Man Who Can’t Be Moved, Nothing and Six Degrees Of Separation with success, for the mainly young audience in club Van Vorst Nationaal.

Ofcourse they sang Hall of Fame which is a collaboration with Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am.

Half June the band will be performing on the Dutch pop festival Pinkpop and we predict a very successful performance on Rock Werchter of Pukkelpop as well.
