The Script in fire scare in Germany

Keeping warm ... The Script

IRISH rockers The Script were evacuated from their hotel in Germany on Wednesday night after a fire broke out.

The chart favourites were ordered to leave the building when a blaze was discovered, and they watched as firefighters arrived to tackle the flames.

A picture posted on the their Twitter page shows the trio in front of a fire engine alongside the caption: "Had to evacuate the building last night because of a fire!!!"

Guitarist Mark Sheehan is seen gleefully gripping a glass of red wine.

Singer Danny O'Donoghue added on his own page: "Fire in the hotel!!! (Bandmate) Mark thought it was me!! I thought it was him!! Coast is clear."

The group didn't let the fire scare affect their promotional duties - a post on their page on Thursday declared: "First interview of the day in Cologne!"
