Voice judge Danny O’Donoghue has revealed he finds rival show the X Factor too boring to watch.
The Script frontman said he only managed to watch 10 minutes of this year’s UTV series before switching channels.
The Dublin rockstar, whose comments come after X Factor’s lacklustre performance in the ratings this year, insisted that the second season of the Voice is a much better show than its rival.
Danny (32) said: “I watched 10 minutes and switched off.
“The Voice is the premiere singing show in the UK. We’ve seen this season’s X Factor and I know we have a better show.”
All four original judges — including Jesse J, will.i.am, Tom Jones — signed up for a second series of the BBC show, which just started filming.
But Danny is feeling the pressure as he has been working closely with The Script since the band released their third album, called #3.
He will also be juggling his TV duties with touring next February and March.
