Will the Script frontman Danny O'Donoghue follow Script?

THE Script frontman Danny O'Donoghue won't rule out joining the list of potential replacements for Keith Urban on The Voice.

The band has enjoyed a signicant profile boost since his turn as a coach on the UK series, with their latest single Hall Of Fame claiming the British No.1 for three weeks.

"We haven't been asked . . . yet. This has been going around a bit. Who knows?" the singer said.

The Script have been hugely popular in Australia since releasing their debut single We Cry four years ago.

While the respected songwriters have paid their dues with regular visits since then, not even they expected to draw the kind of young female following who generally scream at One Direction.

Just hours after a sold-out gig in Sydney to launch their latest record #3, O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power were mobbed in McDonald's in Kings Cross after enjoying a few post-show beers.

The Script will return for a national tour in April, stepping up to arenas and in perfect timing for the kick-off for the live shows of The Voice in Australia.
