SINGAPORE - Fans of Irish band The Script screamed their lungs out as the 4-man band brought the house down yesterday night at Avalon Singapore.
They are in Singapore to promote their latest album #3, the Dublin rockers belted out hit after hit in an hour-long private showcase, interspersing the showcase with anecdotes about their experiences in Singapore so far.
Frontman Danny O'Donoghue was full of praise for local fans, thanking them for their support (in the Chinese language, no less). Guitarist Mark Sheehan also put on a good show, entertaining fans with power chords and guitar riffs.
The Script will be back in Singapore next year with a full-out concert. Fans who missed the concert can still catch them at an autograph signing session at Bugis Square Level 1, Bugis Junction today at 4pm.
