Danny O'Donoghue Looks Smug In London As The Script Gear Up For First Ever Number 1 They've overtaken Amelia Lily on iTunes

The Voice UK coach Danny O'Donoghue looked like the cat who got the cream in London today as he arrived at the ITV Studios for a promotional appearance. 

He's got good reason to be happy - his band The Script could be on the verge of scoring their first ever Number One single. 

The group's new single 'Hall Of Fame', featuring will.i.am, had been 6,000 copies behind X Factor finalist Amelia Lily on Wednesday's midweek update, but the song is now in the top spot on the iTunes rankings. 

How the change of positions on the online store's countdown affects the official nationwide chart will be revealed on Sunday when this week's final tally is announced. 

But with Amelia now at No3 on iTunes, the signs are looking good for the Irish trio in their quest to bag their first ever chart-topping single.
