THE lead singer of chart-topping group The Script may not
have signed up to the second series of TV talent show The Voice yet, but he got
back in judging mode on Friday when he visited the kmfm studios in Medway.
And after judging the singing skills of an advertising sales
rep live on air, Danny talked
about his journey from his school days of sticking recorders up his nostrils to
play When the Saints Go Marching In through to success with The Script and his
role as a Saturday night talent show judge.
The 31-year-old admits it has been a rags to riches ride for
his Dublin band who now they find themselves performing to thousands and
sharing stadium shows with the likes of U2.
The Script's new album includes a collaboration with Danny's The Voice co-judge
Will.i.am, about whom he said: "A lot of people saw us going back and
forth arguing on The Voice, but we've got a great, great friendship."
He said: "I want to come back. We're in talks about it
at the moment."
