Desperate to become a genuine couple, Bo
Bruce has told Danny O’Donoghue to go public with the romance – or she’s
walking
Both Danny O’Donoghue and Bo Bruce are
clearly besotted with each other, but ‘The Voice’ judge is still holding back
on making his rumoured romance with Bo Bruce official. Danny, 31, has confessed
to friends that he has strong feelings for the 27- year- old Bo, but he’s too
scared to face the public and admit it.
‘The Voice’ finalist Bo, has had a hard
time of late. Her mother passed away after a long cancer battle and she’s sick
of playing games with Danny.
A source tells us: ‘Everyone thinks Bo is
totally infatuated with Danny and will do anything he asks, but she’s ready to
put her foot down with him now. Although she is mad about him, she feels he
should be prepared to publically admit his feelings for her. Bo has told him:
“I act like your girlfriend, and you say you have feelings – so why are you so
scared to admit it?”
The situation is tricky for Danny, as he
only split with long-term girlfriend Irma Mali, two months ago.
He denied that Bo was the reason, but it
was clear during their time on “The Voice,” and described her as his ‘everything’
during the live final.
UNDER INTENSE PRESSURE
Last week, we told how Danny isn’t ready to
jump into another relationship despite his undoubted chemistry with Bo. But the
strain is growing, ‘Danny is feeling really pressurised,’ the source says. He’s
a very private guy and feels all hell will break loose as soon as he openly
admits he’s crazy about her.’
Bo, however, is fed up with stolen kisses
and secret cuddles, and almost feels as if the Irish hunk is ashamed of her.
The pal adds: ‘It’s tough for Bo because
her friends, family and industry pals keep asking what’s going on between them.
She feels silly having to bat off all the questions, so she’s told him he has
to man up and show her and the world that he’s not embarrassed to be seen with
her.”
MADE TO LOOK DESPERATE
Danny certainly hasn’t shied away from Bo
since ‘The Voice’ ended, but Bo is concerned by his reluctance to commit.
The source adds: “They are texting, calling
each other late at night and even going on dates. But Bo is starting to feel
that Danny is not going the extra mile to show they are a united couple.
“She may feel like she’s landed the jackpot
with him, but she is not prepared to be made to look desperate.”
