Script star scores beaut for New Year

DANNY O'DONOGHUE has certainly got the new year off with a bang - with a stunning blonde. The Script frontman stunned many last year when he broke up with his beautiful long-term girlfriend, model Irma Mali. 

But Hush Hush can reveal he spent the early part of this year sunning himself in Barbados and hanging out with the likes of Simon Cowell, Sinitta, Coleen Rooney and Jodie Marsh.

"Danny was in the Lone Star restaurant on New Year's Eve," says a source. 

"He was knocking back the drinks and looking pale next to everyone. He confessed he needed to do a bit more sunbathing, but prefers the party life to tanning." 

Danny later left with a stunning blonde on his arm, no doubt continuing his celebrations somewhere more intimate. He had earlier spent Christmas in Dublin with his family - his first in four years as a single man. 

"I just want to be with my family," he had said in the lead-up to Christmas. 

"Just to have a nice Christmas and get into the spirit of things. It'll be a week at home, then I'm going away somewhere sunny. Asked if he's definitely single at the moment, he replies: "Mm hmmm." 

He adds: "I've been rocking it, yeah, I'm not looking for anything serious right now."

Danny Dating Again After Bo Rumours

Danny O'Donoghue admits he is dating following the recent break-up with his model girlfriend Irma Mali. But The Script star reiterates that no hanky panky went on with Bo Bruce, who he mentored on the UK Voice. 

"We shared an intimate performance on TV, that's all," he stresses. 

"When people snog on Corrie, people don't think they're together. But in retrospect it was a bit racy. 

"For the first three or four weeks after the show ended, I didn't read much about Leanne Mitchell or Tyler James. 

"It gave Bo press all the way to the V festival, where she played to a packed-out crowd." 

And he admits his Dublin-based former girlfriend Irma Mali struggled to cope with the fall-out. "It was f**ing hard on my ex when words like 'affair' were used," he says of the Lithuanian model's reaction. 

"I'm sure there are people who think I had an affair with Bo, but I would never cheat. 

"I knew Irma would be fine - and you can't buy publicity like that." 

Danny (31), who was recently linked to a mystery woman in America, adds: "I'm young free and single. 

"I'm quite busy but I'm playing the field. 

"I'm open to it, but I'm just like anybody who is single. 

"But I've just come out of a long-term relationship - I'd be foolish to go straight back into another one."

The Voice UK's Danny O'Donoghue Fuels Bo Bruce Romance Rumours As He Dumps Girlfriend

He's on a 'break' from Irma Mali...

The Voice UK coach Danny O’Donoghue has split from his girlfriend of four years, fuelling rumours he is dating contestant Bo Bruce after working as her mentor.

Irma Mali was noticeably absence from the final of The Voice on Saturday night. Meanwhile Danny got very up close and personal with his finalist Bo, performing a sizzling duet of 'Read All About It'. At one point the handsy Irishman looked like he was about the kiss Bo and even host Holly Willoughby couldn’t resist commenting on their chemistry after the performance.

Despite a close friend denying the romance rumours this weekend, a show insider has revealed to 'The Mirror' that Danny has "told people that he and Irma are ‘on a break’."

“No one knows if he and Bo are together for sure but the rumours are circulating like crazy. Everyone wants it to be true because we all love a romance and they seem so happy.”

Danny and Lithuanian model Irma, 28, have been dating for four years. On Saturday night’s show, Danny said: “I’m over the moon to have Bo as my finalist, she’s everything, absolutely everything.” Bo, who came second to winner Leanne Mitchell, responded, saying:

“This ­experience wouldn’t have been the same if I hadn’t had Danny. From the word go, he had confidence in me. I get on very well with Danny, we have a lot in common.
