The Voice Teasers Tweets And Pictures

So it's Day 1 of filming. It's like the first day back at school but with quadruple superstars instead of double geography.

Ain't no tea-break like a 'Gangnam Style' dance off tea-break

The sight of four spinning chairs turns calm vocalists into porridge. Does that even make sense? It doesn't matter

Day 1 of The Blinds: done. The standard was amazing. The vocals were incredible. And the coaches were pure gold. Now: sleep (bednam style)!

will.i.am ‏im in manchester...what clubs are happening in manchester tonight??? ........

Ok manchester...false club alarm...due to sleepiness from travel & work, I will be invading #theBEDclub & sleeping...let's party tomorrow

The acts are ready. The coaches are ready. @hollywills &@REGYATES are ready. @ukvoiceband are ready. The chairs were born ready. Let's go.

Stop the clock! First Sir Tom Jones namedrop of the day (clue: it's not Dr Dre). #SirTomKnowsEveryone

We've never had anything like you on The Voice before." @thescript_danny  (clue: it's not N Dubz)

If you're the Megan who @thescript_danny is about to give a birthday kiss to, we hope you haven't been eating onions...

Three words: denim on denim. #denim

"I turned around first." / "But I turned around cooler." It's on (already)

"If you come on my team, we'll ALWAYS wear matching jackets."@iamwill (currently in matching gold boots, glasses and hair).

"I'm not trying to sell it, I'm just trying to tell it. And if you didn't hear, I might have to yell it!" @iamwill's latte has kicked in.

"What do you do outside of singing?" / "I'm a restaurant." / "You're a what?" / "I mean a waitress!" Think it's time for a break.

Everybody's starry eyed. Actually no, it might be tiredness.

Someone is singing. They are amazing. No chairs yet. Oh come on. Someone's turned! (These tweets will make more sense when it's on telly)

*breaking news* Someone's just picked up one the coaches after their audition (physically, not romantically). Hope they put them down.

First look at the coaches in their chairs! But you might need a magnifying glass..

POLL: Vote For The Biggest TV Shows Of 2012

We have been kept entertained this year but which show has been the biggest this year?

Well, 2012 is nearly over and as we get closer to 2013, we have a fresh batch of TV to look forward too, but before we wave goodbye to another year, we want to know which show has been the biggest of 2012!

January saw the return of Celebrity Big Brother and the arrival of a whole host of celebrities who we hadn't seen or heard of in a while. As the housemates got to know each other, it soon became apparent that some gelled, some didn't and some just took their tops off in the hot tub amongst former X Factor finalist Frankie Cocozza, yes Denise Welch. but that didn't stop the Loose Women star from being crowned winner of the show.

As 2012 got into full swing, a new TV talent show was welcomed to our schedules...The Voice. Having proven to be a success in the US, Jessie J, will.i.am, Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue took to their big red swirling chairs to find the next big thing in music.

This summer went to the London 2012 Olympic coverage and we're pretty sure that we won't be able to forget the opening and closing ceremony and everything in between, in a hurry!

Giving us our fix of weekly drama was The Only Way Is Essex and Made In Chelsea. Lauren Goodger's departure caused tears and Spencer Matthew's decision to appear on The Bachelor started speculation that he wasn't returning to the show.

As the days got shorter, the need to curl up and watch TV became greater and boy was there a lot on. After a year's hiatus both the X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing began. As the final place on the X Factor panel hung in the balance until Nicole Scherzinger took her place, Strictly announced which celebrities would be cha-cha-ing across the dancefloor for the chance to win the coveted Mirrorball trophy.

In between Strictly and the X Factor, I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here returned with even more celebrities and even more squirming celebrities, in particular Helen Flanagan. After three weeks of living out in the Australian outback, EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks was named Queen of the jungle.

So there we have it and what a year of TV it has been! What has been the biggest show for you this year? Vote now!

The Voice UK - Points To Remember When You Attend A Show

What can’t I take into the studio with me?

Some shows won’t let you keep your mobile phone and camera with you for the recording and will ask you to leave them outside. If they do let you keep them with you, we ask you not to use them in the studio.
We don't normally run a cloakroom so it's best not to bring any large bags.

Does my ticket guarantee me a seat?

Unfortunately your ticket does not guarantee you a seat on our shows where the tickets are complimentary. As these tickets are free, people often request more than they need, so we have to issue more tickets than there are seats available to allow for this.
We do consider carefully how many extra tickets to issue for each show, but we recommend that you arrive in good time to be sure that you are not disappointed. Entry into the show is on a first come, first served basis.

What arrangements are there for access needs/disabled people?

If you need help with access please let us know as soon as possible.
At all venues we welcome assistance dogs and at most venues we offer wheelchair access, adapted toilets, induction loops and sign language interpretation.
Car parking for blue badge holders is available at BBC Television Centre only.
Please phone 0370 901 1227 to confirm arrangements.
Please be aware smoke effects, strobe lighting, lasers and loud noises may be used in the studio.

Voice Result Facing The Axe; Ratings Slump Brings Big Changes In Next Series

BBC bosses are sharpening their axes and planning to dump The Voice results show due to poor ratings.

Execs on the singing contest will drop the Sunday night episode as part of a major revamp for the second series.

And that's not all: the number of live shows will be slashed from six to three; and each mentor's team will increase from ten to up to 20 with more blind auditions.

Letting slip all the changes in my exclusive chat Danny O'Donoghue told me: "There will be a lot of changes.

"For starters, there will be more blind auditions.

"And we are increasing the numbers on each team from 10 to 15 or 20.

"Live shows will be cut from six to just three and the results will be on the same night as far as I know.

"One of the problems last year was me and Jessie J tweeting the results before they had aired, so I think it will all be on one night now."

The Voice became an instant hit when it launched last spring, gaining a massive 11million viewers.

But that audience was halved when viewers turned off in their millions after the blind rounds.

Jessie J, Tom Jones and will.i.am will all return to swivel around on their chairs alongside Danny.

But The Script singer told fans to expect a bigger and better show this time.

He said: "The four coaches and the BBC know what to do to make sure this series is even better than the first one.

"We all agreed we need to get the songs and the artists out sooner. "We were all throwing ideas down on the table and talked about writing a song for the winner to release as soon as the show finishes.

"The songs will be available to download on the same night to create a buzz and create a back catalogue and create an appetite for the artists."

The Script's Danny O'Donoghue: I'm still single

The Script singer says he was inspired by his break-up to write last single

Danny O'Donoghue says he used the heartbreak from the end of his last relationship to write single Six Degrees of Separation.

The singer for The Script, who was also a judge on The Voice, says: 'I split up with my long-term girlfriend and that happened to fall in the period where we were writing an album.

'I'm still single and I tend to fluctuate between being in a relationship, going out of one, being in a relationship, going out of one.'

Er, like most people then.

Danny, 32, admitted last month he no longer speaks to Bo Bruce, who he mentored on The Voice.

At the time of the show, Danny and Bo were linked after he split from model girlfriend Irma Mali, 28.

'I still really believe in the show,' Danny told The Daily Star about the BBC talent show which he judged along with Jessie J.

The Script Talk Banging On Their Chest Like King Kong At Jingle Bell Ball - Video

The 'Hall Of Fame' stars mimic their famous lyric and talk playing Capital's Jingle Bell Ball.

The Script have mimicked their famous song lyric from 'Hall Of Fame' about "banging on your chest" like sci-fi character King Kong and discussed the line's popularity with fans.

The 'Man Who Can't Be Moved' trio spoke to Capital backstage at this year's Jingle Bell Ball 2012 ahead of their performance, and admitted the lyric, 'You can be the King Kong banging on your chest', originally came to them as a joke.

"When we were writing, it was more like, 'What's the most proudest thing you can do as a child'," singer Danny O'Donoghue revealed. "So you just think like Superman deflecting bullets or King Kong banging on his chest.

"Lyrics like that they just stick out in songs and I guess it's one of those things in people's heads."

The Irish band took to the stage at London's O2 Arena today (8th December) for day one of the Jingle Bell Ball to perform some of their biggest hits to date, including their will.i.am collaboration and Big Top 40 number one single 'Hall Of Fame'.
