In search of the ultimate listening experience, Sony engineers teamed up with Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power of The Script. Their goal was to develop a new generation of headphones that today’s leading recording artists could truly trust.

The story behind the sound

The collaboration focused on realising headphone sound that’s in tune with today’s musical tastes – especially those powerful low-frequency sounds that bass-lovers crave.

The finished article 

Job done. That’s it: the headphones are ready to be folded and slipped into the band’s kit bags. The boys say their goodbyes and hit the road, having helped shape the sound and style of the MDR-10RC
