Mel B Snubbed The Script And Invited Rita Ora Back To Her House After The X Factor

The Script had a very awkward moment with X Factor judge Mel B last week, and they told us all about it when we sat down with them for a chat! 

The band performed on The X Factor, along with Rita Ora. And it seems that Mel B was definitely playing favourites when she invited Rita back to her house for a drink, but didn’t invite The Script! 

“Mel B invited everyone over to her house except us,” Danny said. 

“We were standing there, we were kind of hanging back after The X Factor, about to leave and we were having a laugh outside, having a drink and a cigarette with Rita Ora. And Mel B walked up, and she just zoned straight in on Rita and said, ‘You come back to my house afterwards for a drink?’” Mark said. 

“I was like ‘OK see you bye’,” Danny said. 

“It was just awkward. Hashtag awkward!” Mark added.
